Uefa has released 2016 financial reports of all clubs in Europe and Manchester United fans will not be happy with the Glazer Family once again. The Club overall debt has increased in the last twelve months and even though the club is in great shape financially, the increase is a worrying trend.

Other clubs in the top ten include;

10. Roma- €208m

Serie A giants AS Roma have been trying without success to get back to the top of European football to try and boost their finances. They have not gone passed the round of 16 for a couple of years now and that have seriously affected their pockets.

9. Juventus- €209m

Italian Champions Juventus must be enjoying the success they have enjoyed both domestically and Europe in the last couple of years. They have lifted the last four Serie A titles and there is no indication that someone will dethrone then anytime soon. Financially, they are not badly off especially after selling Paul Pogba for over €100million to Manchester United last summer.

8. Galatasaray- €222m

2016 was not a great year for Turkish football in so many ways largely because of political instability in the country. Galatasaray like many clubs struggled on and off the pitch. Their financial reports tell the story even better, they will need to do more in 2017.
