Juventus have been scouting Liverpool with a view to making a possible move for German international midefielder Emre Can, who is out of favour at Anfield.
The Bianconeri have been seeking new options in the middle of the park and their search has taken them to the 23-year-old.
Italian newspaper Corriere hello Sport claim that Juventus scouts were in attendance at Old Trafford last weekend for Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
Can is one of three central midfielders Juventus are currently seeking to recruit, with Mahmoud Dahoud of Borussia Moenchengladbach and Lyon’s Corentin Tolisso also on the shopping-list.
Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is on the lookout for a central midfielder following the departure of Paul Pogba to Manchester United last summer.
The Germany midfielder has scored three goals with two assists in 23 competitive appearances for the Reds this season.
Can joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen for €12m in the summer of 2014 and his contract is due to expire in June 2018.
