Arsenal could be without their four key players in their Premier League encounter against Chelsea when both London clubs meet on February 4th.

Alexis Sanchez’s 97th-minute penalty earned the Gunners 2-1 against Burnley at the Emirates on Sunday.

Arsene Wenger’s side moved up to second in the Premier League – eight points behind the leaders Chelsea.

Granit Xhaka received straight red card following his two-footed challenge on Steven Defour.

He will now miss Arsenal’s next four games considering this is not the first time he has been sent off for such an offence this season.

If Xhaka receives four-match ban for violent conduct, he will miss the following games:

28 January – Southampton v Arsenal (FA Fourth Round)
31 January – Arsenal v Watford (Premier League)
4 February – Chelsea v Arsenal (Premier League)
11 February – Arsenal v Hull City (Premier League)

Santi Cazorla is currently out injured and may not play again this season after two operations on an injured ankle.

And the other option, Mohamed Elneny, is currently with Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations

Theo Walcott is also another player who could miss the clash.

The England International suffered a calf injury shortly after our 2-1 defeat at Manchester City in mid-December.

Walcott was only initially expected to be out for a matter of days, he’s ended up sitting out our last five matches in all competitions.
